Removing Cluster from 2001 LS430
Hi
I tried to remove the instrument cluster from my 2001 LS430 yesterday. I removed the trip panel (on the left) and the panel that houses the two LEDs and instrument dimmer **** (on the right). I then removed two plastic clips from under the cluster cowling, however I could not budge the cowling off from the dash so I could get at the cluster.
Could anyone tell me how to remove the cluster?
Thanks - Nad

Welcome to the club. If you do not mind us asking- why in the world would someone need to remove the cluster on a 2001 LS430? Already having problems? Is the car still under warranty?

Hi
I was just wanting to change the dull white cathode tubes for some blue ones, Im not sure how easy it is to dismantle the cluster but would like to have a go anyway.
