Default Help: Moon roof and steering column stopped working

I have a 1999 LS 400 and the moon roof and the adjustable steering column stopped moving. I replaced the 15 amp # 6 fuse in the cabin but no luck. They are both on the same fuse which I find interesting. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked the fuse 30A PWR? Those 2 loads are commonly getting the power from it. When it blows, both sure will stop working. If so, the root problem is why it is open.

No I haven't tried that. I will try that tomorrow. I appreciate your help.

I replaced the 30 amp PWR and it didn't solve the problem. There are three 30 amp fuses in the diagram but I have only two installed. the middle slot is vacant. Should there be a third fuse there? Also I have had this car for four years and these issues never cropped up. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

A tilt/telescopic malfunction should set a DTC or DTC's but you need to access these with either the Toyota scan tool or one that will read Toyota manufacturer codes.

The attachment is of the DTC chart. Maybe the TDC's will help you narrow down where to look.
