The equivalent title in your scenario would be a post that is titled “Celsior got hit by a man”. Even in a forum that is obviously male dominated, that would have been a weird and unhelpful title at least to me and I am a man.

My suggestion stands, if you want to ask a question about body repair following collision, the best title for the post is probably NOT one that does nothing more than identify gender, race etc of the other driver and nothing else. At best, that type of title gives irrelevant information and at worst it reinforces stereotypes. So my suggestion stands- cut to the meat of it and leave irrelevant and possibly stereotyping information out of the title. It’s a suggestion not a demand in the spirit of improving content in this forum.

We've long had forum rules covering this issue and we enforce them when there is a concern.

There was not a concern with the original post or any of the replies until you made one. The OP made a simple statement and observation of fact, all of the replies took it as such and did not go down a misogynistic path. Sure leaving it off may have avoided the callout, but on its own it was OK and NOT a violation of our rules.

Again, back on topic please. Let the moderators do the moderating

@Zcycore - one item that may help you -

I'm not sure where you're located in the US, but if you have a pull-a-part or self-service junkyard you can go to that has one of these cars, that would be the best to help you save on costs. Any panels from 1998-2000 will fit on your car (aside from the slight JDM differences previously mentioned)

car-part.com is also a good resource you can use to find parts. You can search by your zip code and distance to find nearby cars, as well as sometimes photos and the color of the part
