Anyone know what’s supposed to be here it’s a 97 Ls400

If I'm not mistaken, aren't those for the exhaust brackets?

yea it’s a support bracket for the cats, do you think this would cause my cats to smoke?

No, I highly doubt it would. Are your cats glowing too?

If they're glowing and you see smoke, your engine is running too rich, so there's too much fuel getting into the cats and burning up

Any check engine lights?

If they are just smoking, it's also possible you have something like an oil leak, which is burning off the cats

No there not glowing I have a p0300 code for cyl 7,8 , and p0100 p0110. I’m going to try some maf cleaner. I brake cleaned the cats, transmission pan rack and pinion and there’s no visible leaks really I could be missing it though
