Trouble reinstalling servomotor on HVAC box 92 LS400
I have been rebuilding the AC system on my 92 LS400 for months now. I made the mistake of disassembling before all my parts arrived, and now that I finally have everything, I’m struggling to figure out how to reinstall. Now I should have taken much more photos but the ones I took of this particular part are no help to me.
The biggest problem I am facing is that I cannot for the life of me figure out how to position the mode (or air mix I’m not 100% sure) servomotor. No matter how I position it, the bolt holes do not line up. I also cannot figure out how the little arm attaches to the door, especially with this plastic bit in the way. I’ve spent 10 hours toying with this and still have gotten no where. The shop manual doesn’t help much, and I have been tirelessly searching this forum and others and still cannot find any pictures or info on how you install this.
Does anyone have pictures of this? I tried to click on a few links listed on this forum but they either no longer had photos, or the link does not work such as this one: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-second-generation/399744-diy-on-changing-servo-motors.html

Update:
I’ve managed to get the servo motor bolted in, I was looking at the wrong bolt holes, guess I just needed some time away from it to realize that was the issue. Now I am not certain that the arms are positioned properly. Neither of the flaps open on their own now. Or do they only open with the servomotor on?

When you put the key in the first time after connecting the battery, you should see the door in front of the blower motor move. I forget if it defaults to the closed position.. I think it does
