98 LS400 AC Light flashing
Hello, My 98 LS400 AC has been spotty lately. I have recharged it and it works most the time but sometimes it will stop working after a key cycle and the ac light just flashes.
I read somewhere that the AC clutch relay could be the culprit so i purchased one. Does anyone know where this goes? I checked the fuse panel under the hood and it doesnt mention anything about AC nor does it have any relay that looks like what I have
?

Who recharged the system? If you DIY, how do you know you didn't over fill the system?

I had an intermittent flashing AC light on a 96 recently. It was the clutch itself. It has a rubber biscuit to dampen vibration. That rubber biscuit was torn. It would interfere enough sometimes to turn the A/C, sometimes it wouldn't. Replacing the clutch is super simple. One 10 mm bolt. Don't even have to take the pulley off.
