Lexus LS400 VSC light.
Hi, first post.
When I start my car, 1999 model, the VSC light is slow to extinguish. If I engage gear before it extinguishes, it will stay on, otherwise extinguishes normally, after maybe 10secs or so? Any thoughts/help, greatly appreciated.

The VSC light in my car turns off 2 seconds after you set the key to "ON", regardless of whether I start my car or not. Only the check engine light stays on until after the motor is running.
I've never heard of your problem before, good luck sir. I'm just here provide guidance on how my 1998 performs (as it's working correctly).
