Help with diagnosis, car stalls after driving on the freeway.
Got a 91 ls400
Car starts fine everytime
Runs
No overheating
No CEL
Issue is after driving on the freeway, I exit and come to a stop the car stalls. MORE so if I was driving fast (flooring it or 80% throttle)
Only happens after the freeway. Never does it from just driving on the streets.
Car starts back up but dies a couple times. It will stay running after waiting a bit.
What should I check? What could it be? Anyone have experience?
Read something about a torque converter solenoid but I lost the thread. Which makes sense it gets stuck in a higher gear then I come to a stop the engine would die.

There was a time that a partially open EGR valve would do act like you describe..
The thing about the transmission solenoid probably has to do with the torque converter lock-up. If the TCC is applied when coming to a stop, it's like keeping the clutch engaged with a manual transmission.
