Smoked Tailights

Very tastefully done, I would leave them the way they are, I have always believed to make a people take a second look or ponder on Mods like your taillights.
Darker would be obvious they were darkend, but they way they look now made me look a couple of times.
Very nice looking car, sweet.........

Be careful when doing this mod...
I've done it way back in the day on the 240SX. It's comes out fine initially but in time it fades and is very annoying. You may want to clear coat the after you are done to keep the shine.
Fading occurred only when TOO MUCH transparent paint was applied.
To remove the "tint" you need to sand it off with very fine sandpaper. This stuff, if it's hobby paint that i am thinking of, does not come off with thinner after it is dried.
Just my thoughts....

I went out to home depot tonight and the hobby store. I decided to go with the transparent hobby paint since it was right there. Getting a can a Nite-Shades would have taken a while. I couldn't find anything that actually said it had UV protection, so who knows on that. I bought a can of "Painter's Touch - Gloss clear," it's made by Rust-Oleum. My buddy is going to be doing to tests with the paint tomorrow, he had an extra set of tail lights for his car. So, we'll see....

ha ha, funny thing about the eyebrows, as you know people in this forum are always looking to save money and do it themselves, well i am one of those people, pretty much all it is, is a big piece of black vinyl tape, like for stickers, can get it at the local import shop. i did was make a template and use that grid pattern on the lights to make it even...i took them off now because when you have to replace a light bulb you have to take the whole thing apart and i think i rock hit the part were there is a little gap in the fog and regural lights and tore the vinyl so just got mad and took it off but i might when i have some free time do it again
