Default I know showing off will be risky

I lived in the bronx for about 13 yrs before moving to atlanta and so I know about getting my car stolen. My 2nd car in Ny was an 88 accord when I was 22.They stole that car after having it for 4 months.I was parked on the streets at that time and had no choice but to park 6 blocks from where I lived.I know NY pretty well and I will go hide in NJ over my my sister who has a garage.I will only go to the bronx to visit people. This accord had a "wolo" club on the steering wheel but they but they still managed to steal it.I lost big time since I only had liabilty on this vehicle. My other car was a black stealth with rims in atlanta. They also stole that nice ride.I found it 2 weeks later with the 17 inch chrome taken off and crashed. This was after the pay off from the insurance.
Ahhhhh!Laying people off again at this job, I am not even sure if I will take this trip this month.I have new pics to post this week.

Default Road Trip

I have a '92 LS400 (103,000 miles) with all maintenance up to date and drove from Boston, Mass. to Toronto, Canada in late Oct of this year. Oct was the latest I wanted to chance driving to Toronto fearing that any later I would hit big time snow in MA/NY/Canada. The trip was 550 miles, 12 hours each way for a total of 1100 miles and my average speed was 75mph. All the maintenance on my LS was up to date with brand new Michelin MXV4+ Energy 225/60/16 tires on "94 alloy rims. Before leaving I checked out the fluids which were all ok. This was my first road trip since purchaseing the '92 LS400 (100,000) in August '03. Not a mechanical problem since that day. I felt 100% confident driving to Toronto and the LS was a pleasure to drive arriving in Toronto and returning to Boston without the slightest bit of fatigue to me or the car. Averaged about 25 mpg (93 octane) which was what I expected. The LS V8 engine ate up the road passing everything in sight with ease. After a 12 hour trip back to Boston I felt like I could of jumped back into the LS and drove another 500 miles. This is one sweet ride that was built for high speed cross country cruising. Lexus did it right with the smooth ride and powerfull V8 which I doubt any other large luxury sedan can match. Thinking about the next road trip, MA to FL in the spring. Four Door

For the 2nd gen its the 20A EFI No.2 fuse under the hood. Not sure about the 1st gen, but should be generally the same for all Toyota/Lexus. When I had my '89 Cressida I used to pull out the EFI fuse and that car would not start. If I'm not mistaken I believe when that fuse is out it cuts off the fuel. DO NOT PULL IT OUT WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING!

I've pulled out a fuse before that shut off my car, but I think I lost all power. So if you take off this fuse how do you lock your car when you leave and how do you open the locks when you come back?

I don't know of any fuses that cuts off total power to the car. What did you pull?
Only try the EFI fuse. If I'm not mistaken it stands for Electronic Fuel Injection (fuel cut-off)..get it.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me!

If it seems to be in good running orders, I see no proble, driving it for a 10000 mile trip. Good luck.
