Traction Light
For some reason, the traction light comes on intermittenly. Does anyone know why that could have happened? I only turned the trac control off once and and did a u-turn with speed making it fishtail. ~.^

When your rear end spins/slips slightly your orange light on dash will indeed flash to let you know that your rear tires slipped due to not having traction with the pavement for one reason or another at that specific time. It's a Caution/Warning Light to let you know so you can take necessary precautions/actions. Once you have gained traction the light stops flashing. The light comes on regardless whether you have Traction Control on or off.
It's working correctly so don't worry about it.
I hope that made sense to you.

What generation is your LS and do you have Air-Suspension? The traction control light comes on in my 91LS400 because there problems with the air-suspension. The two systems are interelated and it is my understanding that the Traction Control automatically disables if the air-suspension is not working properly..

If your TRAC OFF is lit AND your TRAC indicator flashes or remains on, you have a problem and you need to pull an error code from the ECU.
I speak from experience as I have intermittent problems with the TRAC. When working properly, TRAC flashes when the system is activated (provided that I've not used TRAC OFF to deactivate it). When not working properly, TRAC remains lit and it's possible to cause rear wheel spin if the throttle is depressed hard from a stop. Usually, if I turn the car off and then on, the TRAC light will go out and the system will work properly, until the next time TRAC comes on. I've pulled a 19 error code which corresponds to a pressure loss in the system, either in the lines or with the accumulator.
