Anybody know a good place to have my stock Nakamichi deck repaired? The only problem is it can't control CD changer. 12volt power which should be coming out of deck to the changer isn't showing any power....Tape/radio works just fine.

I called local Lexus dealer to see how much they sell this deck for.....I knew it was gonna be expensive but not as expensive as this.......anybody wanna guess how much??? One thing to note, they said they don't sell rebuilt unit so the only ones they can get is brand new unit.....

OMG!!! I thought the guy was joking or making some mistake....perhaps one digit off, or maybe he meant $1193.14.......NO! he was correct!

I know some place on the internet repairs Lexus deck for around $200 or so....but I was wondering if any of you know a good place....

I thought about going aftermarket route.....but I rather stay with stock set-up...

This is for 1992 LS400.

My 92 with the Nak has lost all speaker output. I wrote to Car Stereo Help and they are about the most helpful folks I have ever dealt with. I am sending my head unit to them this month. They seem fully confident that they can fix these units, and that's what I want to hear.
