Advice needed on selling LS400 (long)
Hello! I have a '91 Lexus LS 400 with 90K miles on it that I am trying to sell quickly and for a fair price. It has some cosmetic damage. My new car is arriving this weekend and I can either try to trade it in at the MB dealer or try to sell it to a body shop ( a couple have already expressed interest). The body shop, I suspect, would offer a better price, but it might be more hassle? If any of you had experience with this and had some words of wisdom, I would appreciate it!
Please also let me know if you can recommend any shops that would be interested in the car in the SF Bay area. Any advice is greatly appreciated, I'm new at this! Thank you!

If you can post a pic of the cars exterior and interior and damage("rust?dents?paint chips?), it will be a lot easier for people here to help you determine what price your car could sell for.
90K is low mileage for a 91 and if the car is in excellent shape, it could probably sell between $6,500-7500. For me I would opt to selling the car private rather than trading it to dealers or sell it to bodyshops. But if those dealers or bodyshops offer you $5000 for it ( which I think is highly unlikely), take it.

should be pretty easy to sell
As Strida mentioned, It's pretty hard to judge how bad (or not) the cosmetic damages are based on what you say, but assuming nothing major (e.g. just minor parking lot dents and bumper scratches, etc.), you shouldn't have much problem selling the vehicle here in the bay area. I think the LS is in pretty high demand here, so if priced correctly (I think Strida hit it on the nail in terms of value), it shouldn't be a huge deal. Have you tried CraigsList? It's free, and I've sold our '99 GMC Yukon thorugh that site (I think I got more inquiries through CraigsList than I did through Autotrader or Yahoo).
