Thanks, I think I'll just go with chrome. Hey, it's cheaper, too!
You also should consider replacing the gold center caps on your wheels with chrome ones. It definitely will not match the rest of your car once your trunk emblems are chrome.

Yes, definately. I've been looking into that for some time. The thing is it costs $45 per cap!

What do you guys think about the taillights? I personally do not like it darkened. I want to take it off.

I had just cleaned and conditioned the leather with Z9 and Z10. The seats are so much softer now and the car smells like leather. I wanted the seats to soak as much as possible so I just covered it with plastic.

You're right! I think I should go to one of the CL members' meets first!

Well since you asked I wouldn't have done that.
Having the brightest tail lights possible to me is a safety thing in my book.

I think I will use goof off to take it off, then apply a gloss to give it that shiny, new look.

You applied it on the interior not the exterior right?

You have 2 choices then:
1) Get so called "diamond" rear lights
2) Get LED bulbs

Best result of course be when you get both
PS:
Check Lighting forum - guys seem to have pretty long discussion over LEDs...

No, I applied the darkening spray on the outside. It's too much of a hassle to do it inside, plus I didn't know if I would like it anyway.

Watch the chemicals on the acrylic...some are pretty harsh and can soften and dull it.

If they have lost their shine, they are easily buffed with a light touch or wet sanded with 1200 grit to 2000 and then buffed. For those without machines to help, 3M has structured abrasive polishing sheets that work wonders and is very consistent over a traditional silica carbide abrasive.

BTW, I hope you didn't purchase that chrome adhesive grille kit from that moron "Autogrilles" who advertises on Ebay. His name has slipped my mind but he was a CL member until he was thrown off for shady practices. If so, I'm surprised you even received it. I would advice you not to do any further business with him though.

Just my 2 cents.

I'm sure other members will concur.

Well, guess what? It is from them! I installed it myself and never had ant problems with it. I know it's not the best way to do it but it sure was cheap!
I'll consider what you said and not do business with them again.
What shady practices was he doing??

I recall his name now, it was Steve!
Anyway, the thief stole pic's from fellow CL members leading people to believe that the modifications were jobs of his. He posted the pic's on Ebay as well his site to generate business.
Goes by the following names. :
"Autogrilles"
lexusgrill.com
Lextasy.com

Moderator Quotes on him to further prove it.

If you want to roll the dice and go with him caveat emptor, SRT is more likely to be able to provide customer service than someone else who is obviously discounting it (you gotta wonder why they are able to do that - I'm guessing it's not due to high sales volume)."

I think I will go with chrome all around, and get new chrome center caps.
