Window Switch Auto Up/Down
Is it possible to modify window switches to allow auto up and down (one touch mechanism) to all four windows? My 96 LS currently has auto down only for the driver's window.
That would be a cool add-on for me.

What? You think I mustered the extra 7 Grand so you can come and steal my favorite option?
It really does make life easier. Its defiantly worth it, and I’m sure a lot of 1st/2nd gen owners are going to be interested.
I’m pretty sure you will at least need 98+ switches to have the 2-step up/down feature. I have read in more then one car forum that aftermarket modules can be wired to do the job, but I’m not quit sure if it would work on the LS. Although on some cars, it’s an ECU thing, on others its a matter of switches... I’m not entirely sure; hopefully someone will chime in with better thoughts about this. Good luck.

Here's an interesting item that I came upon doing a google search.

we have it on our GS's wonder why they didn't offer it to the LS in those days.

And where do we keep these things? (They look a little bulky.)

all of the wires usually run under the steering column. Most or maybe all installer usually point the brain of any after market alarm down there so I would bet that's a good place to start. Should be pretty easy to access to get to all the wires you need. However, you'll need the wiring diagram for your ls4. I'm selling my GS4 and may even consider a 98 or 99 LS4 so this will be useful for me too.

My 96 only has auto DOWN for the DRIVER side only.
