Since i've been the other thread, I would suggest getting a ZR/WR rated tire to match the high speed capaiblity of the LS. Firestone makes a ZR rated tire called the Fuzion ZRi in that size. $98-100 last time I checked. They also made the Firehawk SZ50EP in that size, but it's discontinued.

Good info for future reference but I doubt he'll replace them since he recently got those a few months ago and is very satisfied with them. I just figured I would point that out to him.

Hmm, Yeah thats the size, brand, and model the care came with. Its also the OEM tire for a LS. Now with saying that Lexus has told me they DONT have a "OEM" tire. If you walk around the new car lot you will see. Perrelies (sorry for the spelling), Bridgstone, and Dunlop all on LS. They have told me they pur on whatever they ger supplied. I was floored by this comment. Now in every test review I have for LS 98-2000 they all came with Bridgestone Turanzas ER33??

225 is the correct OEM size.....are you sure there 225 and not 215? If it's 225 don't worry about it then since it's correct. Run outside and check the size again.

Who dares to say your 153MPH story is BS? Tell them to come see me and I hope their not afraid of high speeds (140 and above). Since I lowered my LS high speeds feel like nothing and I like going fast on open roads. Horta, I bet you catch alot of people sleeping right?

Ok Guys
I just went to the Garage and took this pic. Read and tell me what size they are? I hope no one pulled the wool over my eyes, but it looks right to me.
Yes the car is very dirty. With all the Huricanes and rain we have have here in South Florida, detailing you car is the last thing on you mind. Actually it was between washing my car or going to Beach place with my wife on Saturday cause the baby was at grandmas for the weekend. I spent ALL my time with the wife and was well rewarded.

What's strange is neither TireRack or Bridgestone list that size tire.
It possibly could be a old set that were left in stock that Bridgestone no longer manufactures.
