I ended up just using the inserts from the new blades and put them on the old ones. Works fine now.

OEM. I haven't tried the PIAA's, just about every other streaks, chatters or doesn't last very long.

I highly recommend the PIAA silicone blades. They apply a bit of silicone to the glass while operating, causing the water to bead. If you've ever used Rain-ex, you'll know what I mean. No streaks, squeeks or chatter. I had them on my '90 LS, have them on my F350 and Pacifica, and just ordered a set from Amazon for my '99 LS. ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002Z9QRG ). They last a long time. They were still on the '90 when I sold it (at least 2 years) and have been on the Pacifica for 2 years and the F350 for one year.

Not really but I would go with the OEM blades since most of the aftermarket ones I have used always have a dead spot that they don't wipe in the passenger side corner.

I got the Michelin blades from WalMart when I first bought my car, never had any problems. I did have problems with the install though since you can't pop the blades up by the arm perpendicular to the windshield like every other car ever made, unless I'm missin something

They are a pain in the ***. It's hard to describe, but i know exactly what you are saying. The end of them is shaped kind of weird.

you have to install them with the hood open, via engine bay.
