Stock twin turbo unit is somewhat big and heavy. I think I save at least 30lb. when converting to single.

After HKS F-con V 2.1 installation and tune the car still feel laggy. I see full boost at 4500rpm. So I decide to switch the turbine housing from twin chamber .84 to .70. Hope that it will help the spool up time.

Stupid of me. Should stick with 60mm turbo in the first place. Aiming for too much HP make the car not so fun to drive after all.

Default Wood & Leather Steering Wheel

Where did you get that steering wheel? Was it speial made in Thailand? Do you mind giving me the contact information of the place where you got it from or where you had yours made. I have a 95' LS and have been wanting to get one of those but all I saw was for 98' and newer and afraid it won't fit. I will be visiting Thailand in 2 weeks and hoping maybe I can get one then. Thank you!!

tranmission coller. the installation look terrible but will work just find. Want to put it behind the right foglight for better cooling but too lazy to remove the bumper.

I like the twin turbo V8 but to properly set up the turbo system and fine tune the ECU will require "high engine skill " and a bit more money. Plus the space is so tight in the LS400 engine bay that there are no room for small twin turbo. (SC400 have more foom) For big single turbo you need to relocate the battery to the trunk and make custom header.

And 2JZ-GTE is a direct drop-in with lot of aftermarket high HP part. For 1UZ-FE most part will require special order. : forge piston, rod, header, steel gaskets, stand alone ecu, etc. That when thing getting expensive.

BTW: did you check out "lextreme " yet,he been doing turbo 1uz and lot of info was avaialble.
