2JZ-GTE from JDM aristo now sit nicely in the engine bay with help of good friends. The old and tried V8 was out and turbo inline 6 was in. Have to wait till next week for a guy to do all of the wiring for me. Better leave this work to the expert.

Using engine mounts both left and right from 2JZ-GTE vvti engine instead of 2JZ-GTE unit. The vvti engine mount move engine about 2inches forward.
Also have to grind and hammer down the hydrulic fan bracket, since it interface with power steering pump and alternator. Not a problem.

Nice to see you are doing this. More powerful toys for the Lexus family. Dropping the engine in should not be a problem but wiring might give you some headache. I wonder if you would complete it before I do mine

Raditor is a tight fit: have to cut away two of the bottom fan bracket.
Bottom: drive shaft return from machine shop already weld and balance, cost me $50
. The right one is 1UZ unit. Both have same lenght but mounting hole of 1UZ unit is about 1CM wider.
