Is this worth it?
Well I have been working with a brake manuf. concerning a big brake upgrade for the LS430. They have come up with something that they think will work. They have asked me to use my car for their prototype brake system.....
The brakes will have an est. 14"-15" size rotor. The front calip. will be a 6 piston calip. and the rear will be a 4 piston.
Being that my car will be the test car, they offered to cut me a deal on the system. They are asking 4000 for the kit and they will do all the up keep on the brakes..ie...if something breaks or anything they would service it at no charge.
They have told me that the brakes would retail for 7k.....
What do you all think? Is it worth it? Help me out...but for sure I need to upgrade the brakes, with these 20"s, the braking power just sucks!

Sounds interesting.
The main thing that crosses my mind is the added unsprung weight on all those corners. This will be an eye catcher for sure.
How does your car feel on the 20's now?
Can you get some specs on their system like caliper and rotor weight to compare them to stock?
If you drive the car hard, I'd say For everyday slugging, probably not.

Depends on your want for this mod and your cash flow. $7k is kind of expensive for a brake upgrade. I know there are more expensive setups out there (in general) but $7k is still a good chunk of change.
$4k is a pretty good price for the kit you described, assuming the quality of the kit is not in question. It is not (for me) a "gotta jump on it now" price since I wouldn't have $4k to throw at it. Still, if there is nothing else comparable is on the market, then you don't have much choice. Gotta pay to play.

Yup, I have my teins coming in a week. Ordered the EDFC but not sure if its going to work...oh well....
But the brake company asked that I do not drop the car until all the fitment tests are all done.....
