Change Spark Plugs on 99 LS4
#2
Nothing that I've seen...relatively straight forward. Just do one plug at a time rather than pulling all the ignition wires. This will prevent any cross-up's.
Swap time for me doing my '97 was an hour and a half. A PITA to remove the intake piping that connects to the throttle body between the MAF. Removing the plugs was a snap it's just all the covers that slow it down. Your VVTi is cenered so this may not be an issue.
A #3 Phillips screw driver for the plastic covers on the heads, a thin walled spark plug socket and 8" or 10" extension will get you on the way. 10mm socket for any engine cover bolts also.
