Default New to these cars, have sunroof issues and need door panel parts.

Well actually my dad recently aquired a 90 LS400. I am trying to fix some items.

Does anybody know where I can source a used drivers door panel? More specifically I am interested only in the plastic recepticle that the master switches snaps into. The area of plastic retaining the spring clip has snapped off.

Also anybody knows what causes the sunrooff to leak? I've checked all drain holes, they are clear, but water is dripping into the passenger side and soaking the headliner. I've searched the forums and found the little square spnge pieces at the edge of the rails and they are intact and pliable. Is is possible that there is a break in the seal between the actual glass panel and frame, allowing water to weep in?

Thanks in advance for any help.

From the dead to problem solved I hope.

My sunroof had a leak that would drip through the sunroof control panel after driving through a heavy rain.
After many failed attempts to fix I tried something I read about on here that was so simple I couldnt believe it worked.
When you tilt the sunroof up then close it back, the aging weatherstripping cannot seal properly.
If you retract the sunroof then close it normally without using tilt, a good seal can be made and it will never leak again.

...unless you decide to tilt it again.
