Here are some pics of my wheels my set up is 18"x10" w/265/35 rear 18"x8.5" w/235/40 front

Again theese are 18" wheels, see the very big gap all around. This is a stock suspension, and a body kit, I know lowering it would take up the gap on top but I'm still not satisfied with the gap on the sides.

For me i got 19x8.5 all around. I think 19's look the best, but like other people have mentioned they dont like the ride quality. Another VERY important thing to consider that i did not know when i bought my wheels. If you go with 19's the tires cost a lot more than 18" wheels. So heads up. When i go over pot holes is when i can REALLY tell a difference between my stock 15" wheels compared to my 19's, but other than that i dont mind. And when you buy your wheel make sure you get the right offset for the size (in width) wheel you want. But they do have a point, if you get really big wheels like i did and you dont lower it, then it will look like you jacked up the car. I have 245/35 on my 19's, good luck

lower it 1" and use a higher series tire. Buy good springs please!! don't cut and cheat. Good shocks also for the better ride. The 50 series wil fill up the gap and give better ride on the 18' rims. Its just an optical illusion like i said. When the series of the tire is too low its ugly if the fender gap is not filled. Also low series take away good ride, not enough air cushion space for air. I have 1" lower Eibach spring, the blue tokico with 18"rims, 245 and try to get anything higher than a 35 series. I prefer 50 to 60. Car looks nice. I'll send u pic of mine next time.

I think im going to go with the 18s because of $$$. Im probably gonna go with H&R Springs with Tokico shocks for about a 1.5" drop. Unfortunately it might be a while cause this is gonna cost a little more than I had anticipated. BUT, when I get it done I will DEFFINATELY post pics. Thanks all.

Another option you may consider is getting coilovers! Adjustable stiffness, and ride height, very benificial long term. You could put a set of affordable 18"(or stay stock) lower it see how you like and as you get a little more money together make a better decision about wheel sizes, tire profile, ride height and stiffness. Thats what I'm considering, thats why no complete pics of my car.
