It is more like a show and tell car now.
I'm just getting the exhaust to replace mine that fell off and is staying on with a metal tie clamp and for show.
My car is a lot faster though since it is straight piping it right now!
I'll report on the sounds and what I think it feels like on ecceleration.

Hey Loule,Is it so loud that people next to you just stare.I still do not believe it will be that loud or maybe i am wrong, nothing can possibly be as loud as a pesky four banger with exhausts.

I just think it is too loud for a LS400.
People think I'm driving a hot rod Lexus. :eek:
Plus, the freakin' car vibrates on acceleration!!!!

Maybe because you do not have piping all the way thru.you said your exhausrt fell off, is the vibration that big, i am sure it is not as loud as those four bangers still.

hey Loule what kind of piping is best for the straight pipe?2 and 1/2 or 3in or larger.
I have also seen another web site some LS's have a Greddy exhuast?Do you know anything about a Greddy exhaust?

Blitz is just another name for Greddy over in Japan I believe.
Either way they both have to be imported.
There is a study test on a Teg in Turbo or SCC mag about the dif. between 2 1/2" and 3" piping.
When it came down to it the 3" piping gave out around 3 more HP and about 3 more TQ then the 2 1/2" piping on the dyno.
I guess if your straight piping then go with 3"

Plus, your gonna lose a lot of ground clearance with anything larger.

Just got a reply from HKS and it is done!
BUT....., it will cost yall $1100.

I'm going with the Blitz, group buy anyone?
The Blitz is quoted at $900 S/H (3-4 weeks waiting), if we can get a say more then 4 peeps then maybe we can get it under $800!
