The avalon is one hell of a car at a bargain price...talking about the limited. With what it gives you for the money and for the styling, safety, technology, luxury and performance - its defnitely going to be motor trends winner or sumthing. Its the best car to buy for a family or a single person who defnitely seeks a TRUE VALUE in automobile purchases...and not just value..but high quality value at its finest.

30K for a car pretty much fully loaded as a case car? Come on guys - its really a no brainer. (As of right now with whats being offered in the market place, particularly the ES330 which is pretty much totaly beat by the Avalon and the ES330s decline in sales against the Avalon show it.)

The Avalon is a nice family, FWD car providing great value and reliability. It should be considered when buying family cars like Maxima, Accords, TL, even RL for that matter. But it is NO substitute for the LS. Again, the Avalon is a nice car.

I think I'd go for the Audi A8. Nice subtle styling. Not a big fan of MB or BMW. The GS seems to me to have a small cockpit (any comments?) and the IS seems to have been adopted by the "boy racer" brigade.

Default I'm not an old man!!

I just bought my Ls400 for fun to "experience" lexus, i'd much rather have a

G35 coupe
BMW M3
Audi S4 (previous gen)

the nsx idea is a good one too....

A8, to me the most appealing car in it's class right now. Too bad it's reliability is questionable, but so are the other European brands . . .

Drove my brothers for about a week or so...and I got to tell ya, this car is THE BOMB! its a 2005 A8L Quat.

The over all drive and feel is a bit nicer then the LS, but this car has been to the dealer three times already (only had it for two months)....so when it comes to reliability, the LS has it!

How about the LF-A?

I need 500HP!!!

I also like the look of the new Infiniti M45 Sport.

Like the A8 but think Audi reliability would kill me.

I've test driven a variety here and there and in enough instances, I find that I prefer my LS. It's like that favorite chair...you just sit in it and go "ahhhh".

I too like the new Infinity M45/Fuga. Saw it modded in Japan, and it gave me a new perspective on that car. Any of you take one for a drive...your thoughts?

Cool

I was going to buy a BMW 7 before I got my LS, I still love the look and the power of the 7, but I know some people that have owned them and they said their reliability is subject at best.
