Anybody know where one might find old issues of Motortrend, Car and Driver, Road & Track & the link? Please steer me in the right direction with websites if possible. Any help is appreciated!
I would love to see a comparo that included the all new 1992 ES 300!

Half of them are my original subscriptions, the others I found on ebay. It's great looking back and seeing the huge impact that the first LS and SC had on the auto industry.

Here's the whole thing in one file
There is a little image degrading, but I put the whole thing in one file and reduced it down to 1 meg.

interesting finds
I just did a search online and I'm surprised to find more Old Magazine sellers out online nowadays...
They're kind of like comic books to some people, so these "sellers" do exist.
Awhile back I had to find an car&driver issue for a friend who had an Impulse. Yes the nice one.
Anyways, I found plenty of leads just by goooogling .
Some sites I went into were pretty good and full of cover shots and page shots.
Some were just descriptions, or bulk purchases for series and volumes, oh and lots of ****.
You wouldn't believe the amount of old **** people sell. I think there are just as much car magazines for sale as **** though.
Well onto our sexy car....
I found some issues on the Lex that I wanted to buy, but I don't see myself really holding onto it....
Need vs. Wants....
I don't have any particular links just info, because I'm sure you guys can find your way around the 'net. You got here didn't ya?
So happy goooogling .
And good luck.

I will try doing a search.
Does anybody know specifically what months issues of either Motortrend &/or Car and Driver featured the new 1992 & the redesigned 1997 ES 300's? This might help me narrow down my searches. Thanks!

I absoloutely LOVE these old articles/comparison tests on the LS400's. It really makes one realize how and why the brand we love and adore has come to be so successful (plus, I just love to see some fine @$$ kicking by Lexus). We appreciate it SickLex for posting it!!! So please, if anybody else finds more, do not hesitate to post, as I will do the same
Great read...

[QUOTE=ychachad]The original 1990 LS did not just look great and feel great 16 years ago, she is still awesome today!!! QUOTE]
Absolutely... I test drove a car today. A 1994 cadillac eldorado. Thi sis the first northstar powered car Ive driven, and all I can say is *BLAH* I mean, this thing had wheel balancing issues (WHY THE HELL DONT PEOPLE BALANCE AND ALIGN THEIR CARS THAT ARE FOR SALE!!!??) and furthurmore, it tended to buck during acceleration. It was smooth, comfortable, and fit me like a glove, but for having only 118k miles, this thing was most likely on its way out.
The supercharged buick park avenue the company gave me to drive around for two weeks had 207K miles... and it could have easily mopped the floor with that eldorado... and my lexus could basically mop the floor with the buick!!

Actually, here's an idea. I found this website on Infiniti Q45's history. What the creator of this site has done is that he has taken close-up pictures from each page in the car magazines he had on road tests from the Q45 and posted them on his site. So this means as long as some of us do have these older magazines, we can do the same, and not have to search for links on the internet. Just wanted to share this idea with those of you who do have the magazines; and if it's feasible for you guys to post the articles in this manner, then we'd all appreciate it
Here is an example of what this guy has done in "jpg" format:
