rims look tiny.... how big are they? 17s?

I posted the size in the first thread, but yeah 17s. I had already put a deposit on 19" HREs, but after taking a drive in another LS400 with 19s, I decided 19s were not for me.

I come from a background of sports cars and trucks...all on 30 or 35 series tires so I didn't want to kill the smooth factory ride.

Those are some very nice looking rims. I'm thinking of buying a '96 LS400 and if I do, those are the rims that are going on the car.

What's the offset on these things? How close to the edge are they?

Does anyone know what the difference between the IS and GS 17" rims are, regarding offset and how close to the edge they will sit? I think I remember the GS rims being a half inch wider.

I believe these are 17x7.5 wheels, but I can't be sure. I believe the offset is 45mm. It clears the brakes just fine.

I'm not using spacers. I have taken any measurements, but it looks like they fit just fine.
