Default Small (economical) lip spoiler for 98-00 LS?

I've searched and not found anything in this forum, so I thought I'd start a post.

Does anyone know of an economical small lip spoiler (similar to the sportdesign on the GS) for the 98 - 00 LS400? I've got so much $$ tied up in modding my GS that I don't want to go overboard on the LS. Just a few touches here and there.

Checked out Steve's website and found a few, but all were well outside what I want to spend. I bought the l-sportline rear spoiler along with all the other stuff for it, but don't think I will install it as I don't like the way the sides fold onto the body.

Any ideas?

More expensive stuff I've found plenty of (very nice, but more than I want to spend on my 'beater' car):
Admiration $742

Autocoutoure $450

Wald $600

But I'm more looking for something along the price lines of the spoiler depot guys (who don't have anything for the 98-00 LS). Here's one they have for 91 -94

http://www.spoilerdepot.com/Catalog....odelTemp=&idB=

Any ideas?

I've liked the subtleness of the Wald style.

Wonder if you can find a locally produced version that while not particularly designed for the LS may fit the curvature. Prolly a PITA given the time and such to research that aspect though. Given what it would cost for a one-off and fabrication costs, a JDM variant to begin with may save time and some $$.

I say pony up for the "beater".

Lol, I'm already going WAY beyond my 'bone stock except for tint and V1" by doing the Lsportline kit, exhaust, suspension and some new wheels TBD. I just can't justify the $$ for those pieces for this car that sits outside in the pollen, will never be put in a car show, etc. No problem doing that sort of stuff on the GS, the LS just has a different purpose in life

Yeah yeah, rub it in. Nice stuff Jason, glad to see you're doing the new car the right way. I'll trade you the L-sportline rear spoiler + $150 if you have a change of heart

30,450 yen

You do have a situation...time for a larger garage. I'm in a similar boat...want to get another car but I don't have the garage space.

Oh man, that one is absolutely perfect.... exactly what I'm looking for. I'm afraid to do the conversion on that though because I know it'll $$ be in line with the ones above.

edit - the front lip and the exhaust from that site are HOT !

Here ya go Dave.

30,450.00 JPY = 282.811 USD

Not too bad if you're comparing it to other companies.

But then there's the shipping. On something this small and light, though, it may not be so bad.
