Nice, funny how your signals almost look red on the tails rather than bright Amber.
Come on now you have to clear your corners.

Would you consider putting spacers on to push the wheels out more?

Yep, I've definitely considered it (just for the rear). I just want to make sure the balance is right, etc on the wheels before I add anything else to the equation.

Looks great dave! How much extra did you have to pay to make the entire car one-tone. They were trying to tell me it would costs thousands because they need to remove that chrome strip around the car.

I want to do the same once I get the other Wald Kit in, probably in the next few months.

Let me know,

Hmm, I don't recall the exact cost but I think it was around $1600- $1700 for the full works including prepping, painting and installing the l-sportline kit front, sides and rear (color matching on my color LS was very difficult from what I was told). I *think* that the additional cost to do the doors below the molding (the only part left to paint since the bumpers and OEM sides were being replaced) was an incremental $300.

$1600 - 1700 total, including the $300. Note this is from memory and I'm running short of that lately. I've had a LOT of work on my GS done at this place (and a lot done recently), so I may be getting a better deal than usual.

Hey Dave,

Just wondering how loud the LSportline exhaust compares with the stock ones.

It is only *barely* louder than stock, does not seem like an aftermarket exhaust at all. No appreciable performance gains....

In short, it's just for looks and it does look good with the L-sportline kit. It hangs down fairly low so with the LS lowered I scrape sometimes going in and out of driveways.

Any comment on how it may look like with the WALD kit which is only a stock add-on?

TIA.

very clean, Dave. Lots of "minor" (a relative term) touches that would most likely only be caught by the trained eyes of Lexus fanatics. One hell of a rain car, my friend.

Thanks Bruce Funny thing I've recently got the itch for a new ride and am considering de-modding/selling the LS and buying a new IS350 or ES350 as a beater. It's such an awesome car I really can't justify it yet... but I'm working on it .

That I'm not sure of RA... I don't recall what the Wald looks like on the LS.

If it's a small lip, this picture may help you a bit - member SKperformance also has the same exhaust and posted a picture with it on the OEM rear bumper (hope he doesn't mind my using it here):
