My 1992 LS speedometer just got messed up today, it just stopped working and now it sporadically works, cruise wont work and the speedo just keeps jumping here and there going from zero to how fast im going then back and then whenever it wants to it works?? what is going on??

Probably a loose speedometer cable, if you can find it tighten it, if not just stop by Lexus they'll probably adjust it real quick at no charge.

I concur with Stephen. I've had this happen to a few other cars. It should not be a big deal to repair.

yeah it probably a loose wire.. there are three screw holding the faceplate of the speedodometer on. take the 3 screws off then pop the face open. You should chekc yoru connection.

Hey tony are the bulbs under there once you pop the face open?

yup! Three black and Four Grey.. to pop the face off there are one screw on each side.

Tony i am talking about the gauge lights not the LCD, are these bulbs colored so i could just go to a store and buy the colors i want or do the gauge lights work diffrently or do they work the same as the bulbs you just put in?

oh... i dont' think you can do that. i've never tryed to take the face off. i have take the whole assembly off but not into peices.. it would be risky, you might have to recalibrate the thing if u mess up. but i highly doubt it.. check it out and let me know
