HID blue lights
1994 LS 400
Alright so I bought these xenon HID blue lights for the headlights. I found the tutorial for replacing the bulbs so that shouldnt be a problem. I started thinking and im wondering if these will even work with my headlights
I thought I would just replace the stock light bulbs with these but now im thinking it's probably not that easy lol.
??????
---------EDIT
Here's the URL of the ones I bought

Alright sounds good, I'll try them out. Hopefully they look good.
I dont like lextasy.com
Never going to order anything from them again, they messed up sending me the wrong emblems too.

Read all about HID's here: http://www.intellexual.net/ it's more about the bulbs themselves and the type of light they project, nothing really on the differences between reflector and projector style HIDs, ballasts, and starter info can be found about them here: http://faqlight.carpassion.info/

Nope, those are 9006 bulbs that go in the Gen 2 LS.
The blue tinted glass is so dark, it is actually going to cut out a lot of light. That "may be" compensated by making the bulb 100W, which is going to fry your wiring/fuses. The look will be terrible from these poor quality halogens.
Furthermore the link is a joke. It mentions high beams, but high beams (like 9005) do not have the silver/black coating in thr front like these bulbs do. These are low beams all right, a la 9006.
P.S. It does say 100 Watts. Stay away from these.

I have the Nokya H4 "artic White" lights and I like them alot, they are much brighter and have a slight blue tint
btw headlights arent that hard to remove, just remember that the headlight itself does not come out of the harness, you have to remove them both at once
