chubby, if u plan on either carrying passengers or eventually putting an exhaust on the car, your going to want to raise the rear up a notch.

it tends to eat exhausts

looks good, the bilsteins and eibachs will settle a good bit int he next couple weeks

Chubby - Pure is right. Even after I changed perch settings after having the H&R springs for a year it still settled a bit more afterwards. I bottom out now if I go over a speed bump too fast (up front). I will not raise it as I like the look.

I measured from the ground to the fender and got 25 & 5/8" all around.

You should do the same bro and we'll know how much extra drop you get with Tanabe's over H&R's. I am guessing .750" more.

Thanks for the pics - looks great bro. Take more.

I popped them off with a pitman arm puller to make room for the strut assembly. They should have popped right off bro wit the puller.

to clarify, the only trouble i had was getting the castle nuts off BEFORE using the pitman arm puller to pop the joints.

Yup I should have read it completely - the castle nuts on mine were fragile as well but they did not break apart.

(Or whatever you call that mount for the spindle assembly.) It's not much, maybe 25mm more lowering but suspension travel, that 25mm can mean a lot.
omg NOW i know what you mean LOL. i kept looking at that part they show on their website and i'm like wtf... where the hell do you put that? and as i am reflecting on yday's install, there's a strut mount. the only thing this does is raise the bottom strut mount, right? would that mean shorter compression stroke? wouldn't it cause the shock to eventually bottom out because of the long rebound stroke and short compression stroke?

my wheel and tire configuration is different from yours, so i dont think measuring from the ground up will make any difference

here it is after a week

DF210s don't drop as low as they claim (e.g. shown on their 'demo car')
i PMed tanabeusa about this already. not feelin it. i'm already thinking about selling the suspension setup

on their demo car they used OEM springs, which were likely in the tens of thousands of miles, which is why it looks lower than the claimed 2".

I don't know Chubby - it looks pretty good to me You should be bottoming out on speed bumps, etc. I feel you bro - I always feel the same also - wish mine was lower but since it is a bit on the rough side now I am happy.

Not much fender clearance with no load. Put a couple people in back and the tires will tuck
