cutting your springs is honestly the STUPIDEST thing you could do to your suspension. most likely your running on stock shocks, which could need a bit of time to decompress to the point that the car is putting its full weight on the springs. i say give it a couple weeks. or, just do what your going to end up having to do sometime soon and put in a set of good aftermarket shocks.

Definitely do not cut them. Call the shop that sold you the Tanabe's and ask what may be going on in your application. I've put springs into a handful of cars and those applications have gone almost exactly as spec'd once the car was set down. The last 1/8-1/4" occurs in 1K miles typically. How many miles on the new springs?
Any possibility that the stock springs may still be in front?

i had it installed at a friends garage, see the only thing that gets me pissed of is the fact that the rear looks lower than the front.....the springs have about 200miles on them. i guess i will wait it out a little more or else i think imma get those bilstiens with different snap ring settings. thanks for the input guys!! i really appreciate it!!

is this a reason why my car doesnt look lowered....im confused here, i am planning on getting the bilsteins since they have different snap ring settings so i could have them adjusted to lower the car a little more!!

I'll be honest with you, I dont know the specs for the tanabe springs but I remember when I had my suspension instaled I saw the difference right away. Did you notice a difference in spring length btwn your stock ones and your tanabe's? When the shop took out my factory springs I put the l-sportlines next to them to see if there was a difference in length and there was. The L-sportlines were shorter.
Here is a pic of my car before I lowered it. Thats right, I used to be the #1 STUNNA
This is the day after I lowered it.
This is after two weeks of driving.
