Does anyone know if lexus brand battery has a transferable warranty. My sister gave me the one out of her totaled ls400 and it says it has a 84 month warranty battery and is toast after 36 months just curious

I guess if you take out the battery and drive it to them in another car, have them test it, and give you another one. Not sure, might be pro-rated though.

Rid yourself of that battery. I had some issues with mine and for them to even begin, they wanted a $79 diagnostic fee. Told me if the battery was dead, they'd put a new one in. If not, I still was out the $79. You can call and see what they say though.

For me, I went to Kragen they did the diagnostic no charge and that led to me buying one of thier top line battery's for ~$90. Since the purchase is registered in the system, if I ever have a problem, I can go to any Kragen and have warranty. There is a Kragen in almost every town...try that with a Lexus battery and all you'll get is core and be out the $$.
