New LS430
#1
My lease on my GS400 (99) is coming up. I decided to get an LS430 to replace it. I can strech my GS lease month to month until the 2002s are out - I don't see any particularly great deals on 2001. Any new stuff rumored for the 2002?
In any case: any advise on what the lease amount should be for an LS430 right now (California)?
36 month - nothing down (other than minimum driveoff).
"AAA" credit - Only Option: Navigation + Mark Levinsohn
Thanks

I almost got an LS430 back in June to replace my LS400, but my company offered me an expense package that included a $35,000 car, so I let them buy the 400 off lease instead. Last month I was looking at about $1150 for a Navigation/Levinson car with 27,500 miles per year, and about $1275 a month for an Ultra Luxury model (I was deciding between the two). Those were both with $0 down. They budge on the price a good deal actually, especially on the Nav/Lev cars, I was able to get about $3,000 off, may be more now. If you want the standard mileage then I'd expect a sub $1,000 lease on the Nav'Lev LS. I've talked to people that were even able to get it down to $800 or so by increasing their security deposit in lieu of a down payment.
There wont be many changes for 2002, I'd expect maybe the parking assist to be moved to standard, maybe some new wheels (which you could always have swapped out on yours) but anything else would really surprise me. One big thing is phones, Lexus currently has no phone package for the LS430, and I'd expect it to come out next year. If you use the car for business a lot and need a phone thats definately something to consider. I sure was bummed last month when I found out there was no phone. I'd expect more changes in 03 such as a face lift etc, thats when I'll get one.

Hi Maurice,
several guys and i will be picking up gs430s in the upcoming weeks. i am kind of doing a "group buy thing" for us since my buddy is a sales manager. have you gotten any quotes so far here in LA for the ls430? what color combo, options do you prefer?
the last i heard in the bay area, ls430 w/ultra pkg went for msrp out the door, tax and fees included. this translate to ~9-10% off from msrp. i am not sure on the residual for the ls, otherwise i can figure out the payment; but i do know the money factor is ~.0030(7.2%)
we can take this thru PM if you prefer, or my mail is
lexusbill@clublexus.com
thanks
