Help: Climate control "Auto" feature 98-00 LS w/ or w/o nav
Hey all,
Just throwing this out for opinion.
How exactly should the auto feature on a 00/nav act when you first get in the car??
1. Start car.
2. Push auto climate
3. What should I expect to happen?
It seems the system defaults to floor vent and no fan speed. I can push the fan speeds on the nav screen and it works fine but that sort of defeats the purpose of auto.
I am going to run out and try our 98 w/o nav to see what happens.

Depends on the outside temp. If it is cold out, auto setting starts blowing slow on the floor (waiting for heat buildup) then will gradually start increasing fan speed and then come up to the dash vents.
Hope this helps,

Sounds like your climate control is working ok on both cars.
