hmm, basically im replacing the rotors coz im pretty sure their warped (really really bad vibration/jittering when the brakes are applied) so would wiping down the pads with brake cleaner help (tho this seems somewhat dangerous) otherwise i was just thinking of taking a green pad and scuffing up the surfaces of the rotor to give it some bite and help bed-in the old pads.(tho il likely change them too inthe next month or two)

I don't know if somewhere might sell drilled/slotted/dimpled w/e rotors with LT warranty, but I did find some non-modified rotors (Bosch) with a LT warranty- just like you can get with brake pads. So that's what I'm replacing mine with, though I did want to get slotted ones to try out.

I would sand the pads..why aren't u replacing the pads? I have oem Toyota pads sitting in my garage ill send u at no cost..u pay shipping tho
I bought my x-drilled rotors from I-ROTORS on ebay 4 years ago and haven't looked back..never turned them and they haven't rusted...but I don't drive my car in the rain(when does it rain in cali?) and it sits in the garage.
