Its till the original light grey all over. No body kit. Got 20 in neeper concetps that are waiting to be bolted on and I was thinking about 3 or 6 10's in the trunk with an in car pc for the headunit.

I would keep the same color unless you are going to make sure you repaint the door jams, underhood metal, undertrunk metal, etc. you don't want any colors mix-matched. all paintwork needs to visibly appealing as though it came from the factory

That sounds like it might take time but I'm not worried. I like the sky blue clear. And I was also thinkin about putting some lexus logo illusions in rhe paint. What do you think about that.

IMO, forget about the Blue and paint the whole car a different color. But like ls400boi said, make sure you get everything else painted or atleast the door jams.
What color paint would update the car, hmmm.... Pearl white is always a winner, Black (but hard to paint). Silver, Flint, Gray. Head down to the local Lexus (or any other) dealer and ask for a brochure of all their cars and go from there. Keep the paint simple since it's a luxury car. The car itself will give it that presence. You really don't need an outrageous color for the car to be noticed. GL and definitely keep us posted!

I think I posted a reply to the other thread about monotone paint when I meant to reply to this thread.
I don't necessarily agree with everyone. Monotone doesn't have to look dated. I think my first gen in silver looks great with monotone.. the bottom color is just slightly different to provide some contrast. And I forget who had the black JP LS400 second gen, but I think they painted that one two tone as well to keep that classy look.
