Replacement Headlight Bulbs for 95 LS400
I want to get thet HID look but without getting the conversion kit. This website http://www.carxpressions.com/lightin...ight_bulbs.htm has a bunch of them and they tell me what fits in my car. But I wanted to know if anyone can clarify what the different types are ans are some for high beams and some for low beams.
Thanks
Thanks

Low beams use 9003 or H4 and high beams use 9005.

Yeah and you can easily perform a foglamp conversion from 9006 to the 9005 bulb for almost twice the light. I have mine in there for over 23k miles or 1year and 8 months without the shorter life 9005 burning out.

The 9005 bulb and the 9006 bulb use the same wiring; however, they have slightly different tab structures where they fit into the bulbholder. You can modify a 9005 to fit a 9006 holder by removing a small part of the center plastic tab. It is somewhat difficult to describe what you have to do; however, if you compare the two bulbs side by side, you will quickly see how the 9005 has to be modified.
The wattage of the 9005 is slightly higher, and it does not have the blackened front end. Its light output is higher than the 9006.

Yes there is no wiring change. buy a 9005 bulb, put them side by side, get a dremel and you'll know what to do.
