I have a similar problem on my '00 Ls400 for the radio display. Some of the fixed LCD characters such as 'ASL' or 'CH' display, but the variable radio frequency display is non-functional. The radio, however, plays perfectly. I just can't see the station frequency. Lexus says the whole radio has to be swapped out for a new one $$$. They do not fix displays only. Anyone with any suggestions? Thanx.
