1991 LS400 Suspension Problem!!
Hello i am new here. I own a 1991 LS400 w/ 53k on it right now. I am the second owner. My question is i just noticed this week. When i stand in the back of it the left side (Driver side)of the car seems to be lower than the right side. So i wanted to make sure so i went on to the drivers side of the car and i meassured from tire to the fender on how low it is and then same thing to the right side, and i found out the the left side of the car is about and 1 - 1 1/2 lower than the right side. I wanted some advice on what can cause that, the spring? the Shock? and if it is one of those how do i know which one it is front or rear, i think it is the spring, but i wanted to hear some opinions on how i can find out whats causing my car to sit like that, Thank You

Few cars will sit equally at all four corners unless you have an adjustable suspension and can dial in the setting. If the sprtings and struts are in good workign order, just leave it.
Mine (I dunno if this is after lowering or stock)
LF RF
25.75" 26.00"
LR RR
26.25" 26.75

I'm assuming you have air suspension. A lot of the older model LS's encounter this problem because the air suspension is malfunctioning. I suggest replacing them or changing your suspension to coilovers.

At least one of your struts has a leak.
They should not be anywhere near worn out at this amount of mileage , but pressurized struts will from time to time leak & you have had 16 years on these 4.
You will appreciate your 91 LS much more with a complete strut replacement. OEM parts cost is less than $200.00.
Good luck
