just call up some of your local auto-parts (not the big name ones).
and they should have some, or can order some for that price.

dont go to the dealers, theyll charge much more.

here is where i usually get parts from.
http://www.halseyimportparts.com/index.htm
it is in Portland, OR. so i dont know if they will ship.

i havnt check for the calipers yet, but for example, they can
get brake rotors for a Camry for 25 bucks each....

I am lucky to live in the portland area so I can drive over to the east side, but my question: how is the quality on rebuilt calipers or rebuilt anything for that matter?

thanks, joe

rebuilt is as good as new parts.
when you buy alternators/starters/transmissions/calipers/etc. from the dealer, they send you rebuilt ones.
so you dont have to worry about the quality, because they are basically factory.

Which Goodridge SS kit will work with the Supra TT brake calipers? There are two different SS kits, one for 89-7/92 (kit no. 21101) and 8/92 to 94 (kit no. 211012). Since your car is a 90, I'm thinking you used kit no. 21101, rite?

it should still work but why go with the TT kit? there is a minimal performance difference between the TT and the 2LS upgrade but the 2LS upgrade is both MUCH cheaper and a decent bit lighter. hell, even Aliga runs 2LS calipers on his SC and we all know how many TT kits he sells.

let me just run this by you guys again...... to make sure i read correctly

details:
1. i have a 1992 LS
2. i need new rotors bad, they are warped like hell.

from what I read, I can go to autozone (or wherever) and buy a set of 1995-2000 calipers and rotors and they will BOLT ON to my spindles with nothing else changed? eg...

1. remove wheels
2. disconnect brake lines
3. remove calipers
4. remove rotors
5. install new rotors
6. install new calipers
7. connect brake lines
8. bleed brakes
9. drive

I was going to buy some new rotors but if this is the case I will hold out and get some calipers too...

yes, they will bolt on, you will have to bend or cut the dust shield slightly to fit the caliper, very minor stuff.

only 1 BIG problem.

THE BRAKES WILL NOT FIT UNDER YOUR WHEELS.

nope. no way in hell the 2LS brakes will fit under ur stock wheels. (at least not without major spacers.)

ehh, sorry but the GS wheels wont clear either

unless u mean the NEW GS.

only wheels that will clear are 95+ LS400/LS430 wheels. 2IS wheels SHOULD work too.

whaa.. damnit... would small spacers work then? i figured you meant the rotor/caliper would not clear on the rim of the wheel ....did not know you meant the calipers would hit the spokes

these brakes actually stick out further than most BBKs.

spacers would work (prolly 15mm) but ud need longer studs too.

buy some LS430 or NEW IS/GS wheels, they can come and go cheap.

i saw a set of stock 2LS 16" wheels go on ebay a couple times for <$300.
