Rear Knuckle bushings - source (pic attached)

edit: this is the stuff looks like a winner to me. i plan to drill and tap all the bushing locations for zirk fittings. this'll make it nice and easy to grease them. plus the bushings have a gap between them that shohld hold grease with no issues. the stuff you mentioned doesnt come in tubes for a grease gun.

Just wanted to know what the effect on ride quality the ADUS polyurethane bushings had. I'm replacing the original rubber rear knuckle bushing (#2 on the diagram). I like the smooth Lexus ride and was worried the poly would make the ride bone-jarring stiff.
Was there a dramatic increase in stiffness?
Thanks for the info.

well ,since i went from no bushings to urethane, my ride got better. then again, i also dont like a mushy ride. with all poly bushings it wont be bone jarring unless you put some stiff coilovers in.

Before the flames start, I'll say I've not found the answer yet...which is why I'm asking here.
Since we're talking rear end, anyone know anything bout rear upper control arm ball joints? I need them for my 99 w/185K on the clock and don't want to spend for new arms when I just need the ball joints.
TIA

no, they cant. they are part of the arms. when the ball joint goes bad, you must replace the control arm. this will be the case until a company makes an arm with replaceable balljoints. im sure techno toy tuning could do it, but wether they would or not is a different story.

Have you tried the 5056 into the arm of a 2.5LS? Vincent and Ray said in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...m-bushing.html that the 5056 didn't fit into the rear "strut rod" (in the rod not attached to the knuckel). There were a few other threads that seemed like there were questions.
