Default New Tires...

Put on a set of Yokohama Avid V4S's last week. Excellent traction and quiet on the highway. Got them for $500 out the door which is such a deal compared to the $1500 I used to spend on my Corvette tires. And these should last 2-3 times as long.

Well I have had good experiences with my falken ziex. So I put them on the ls 16" rims and the car feels nice and smooth with excellent wet and dry handling

I have those tires as well and they are excellent. My car has always had a pull to the right, and I can't find a good alignment shop to get rid of it. Davenports said I said get rid of the directional tires and that will cure it....I say NOT!!!!! I've had 3 sets of tires on this car and it's always pulled. No, it hasn't been in a front end collision.

It may be some bushings getting old/beat up...

Both my 96 and 91 pulled to the right. I had the 91 aligned 3 times and still pulled to right. I then switched r and l front tires and car then pulled to left.
Same exact thing just happened with my 96. I guess these cars are just very sensitive to either front tire balancing or wear.
Anyone else notice this?

From driving my baby (MK IV 1999), I have noticed the wheel sensitivity is quite... sharp. A single brush will cause her to begin turning. I suspect the extremely light control may exacerbate wheel allignment and balance issues, Bernard.
