Default '90 LS400, want STIFFER suspension...

What can I do to make the ride more stiff?? Tein only makes CST coilovers, don't want those, I want something more stiff. I saw Tokico makes struts, but they are non-adjustable. Does anyone know how those compare to stock?

Any other recommendations?

If you're looking for a stiff suspension setup, your best bet would be to get the JIC magic coilovers. They allow ride height adjustability and dampening control. They are certainly one of the best performance suspension setups you can get for your first gen LS. The Tokico struts will not improve your handling that much. I have them on my LS with stock springs and while it does make the car much more stable, for real handling improvement you are going to have to go with coilovers. If you're serious about it, also look into the Daizen sway bar bushings, as well as the control arm bushings.

idk why in the name of all that is holy you want stiffer shocks than the CS' (unless ur building a track only car, in which case disregard all this) but im pretty sure you can pick up some old JIC SF-1s ad put some stiffer springs from JIC on it.

Not looking for anything track worthy. The car just has blown shocks, and they want a little bit of a firmer ride. We went with H&R Sports and Tokicos, we'll see how things go. Thanks for all your help and advise

Tokicos are ok but dont have a good life to them and tend to loose that firm feel quickly.

I am thinking of going Tanabe springs but am unsure of a shock to go with at this time. I wont be going the $1500 route because for me it isnt worth it on my 92. Now if I was 98 or better that is another story.
