1st gen Air Suspension
I noticed my car (90') was riding very low in the back, I looked underneath and saw that the height sensors on both back shocks were broken, the ball joints had seized and snapped the mounting piece. While repairing it I thought that maybe I could adjust it to be lower all the time seeing as the back was riding quite high. I tried just moving both the sensors down about the same hieght to see if it would let out air, but it didn't. As a matter of fact nothing happened when I moved either side up or down. Shouldn't these be more sensitive to movement? So I continued repairing the mounts and de-seized the joints and put ever thing back. The car now still rides the same height as it did before but I would like to adjust it to make it ride lower all the time. Does anyone know any tricks or tips on how to do this?

Did you check to see if the air suspension was turned on? The switch is behind the door on the left inside fender liner. Also, after the suspension has been worked on, it has to be reset--I'm not sure how it is done, but I think it involves taking out one of the fuses. This should be on the search in this site. This will enable the system to recognize the link positions, I believe. Hope this helps.
