I have a 94 LS400 and I attempted this mod, lets just say it didn't work. Fortunately I am an avid fuser so I didn't harm anything.
But when I pulled the fuse instead of the
31
42
as seen in the schematic
the fuse read
21
43
and on the inside it read different numbers.
Am I to use the prong that is in the the number 2 spot? Am I supposed to pull the fuse completely and put male connectors into their respective spots and use Ignition to the original number 2 spot????
How exactly is this procedure to happen. Can I tap into the wires under that fuse panal and not from the fuse?

Fog Relay Rewire
Pulling the fog relay and using jumpers between the pins with a break in to the #2 switch leg is very good! What about not playing with the relay and finding where the existing switch leg (I think from the diagrams it is red and yellow) runs to/from and breaking in to that line, taping the hot end and splicing your new hot (wipers, park lites) to the piece of cut wire that is NOT hot when fog switch is on?
Just thinking that if the switch wire for the fogs is available it would be a lot simpler to break in to that line then pull the relay and run jumpers.
Am I out in left field? If not, all we need to do is determine location of switch leg. Any ideas?

Hey
I'm thinking about doing the DRL idea on my 91 LS, but I'd like to know if there's an easier way of hooking up the foglights to the parking lights power source.
Has anyone ever messed with the relays to the foglights/parking lights? the way I plan on having mine, is to have the foglights come on, on the first click of the light switch in the cabin. I was wondering if I just take the positive power source from the parking lights relay, splicing it, and routing another wire to the foglights relay, so the above action can be achieved.
