1st Time Driving a Lexus...WOW!
I am very loyal to Toyota. My Dad owned an "83 Corolla & put over 200,000 miles on it. Then he bought a '91 Camry and put 218,000 miles on it. Then he bought a '96 Camry and put 160,00 before buying the 2003 Camry he as now. Currently I own an '86 4Runner with 300,654 miles (the engine was rebuilt at 271,000 miles), and a '98 4Runner with 149,000 miles.
I have known since 1990 that Lexus was good, but never took the time to test drive one. I was afraid I'd like it too much...I was right.
I saw a '93 LS 400 for sale in NC for $3900.00, so I thought I'd go take it for a spin. The inside was pretty well worn, but still the luxury and opulence of the interior features were impressive. It is sad how some people own a vehicle and don't take care of it. I surmized the car had been side swiped because of how the driver door shut, a dent near the front bumper, and where paint had chipped off in the back above the tail lights.
Ok, this is my first post and it is long, so I'll finish up. I was very impressed with the acceleration and how quiet it was to ride in. I'm going to wait until I find the right LS before purchasing one. I have learned a great deal so far from this forum. Thank you.
