Default 1990 LS Coolant Leak

Okay, this is one of my last problems, but it is one that I haven't found the answer to in this forum.

I am slowly leaking coolant from the 17mm filler bolt that sits in at the front of the engine. It is very tight but still leaks a little as I drive. At this point I am tempted to do one of two things: put a little rubber gasket on it, or wrap the threads in teflon tape. Are either of these bad ideas, and if so, what have you done to remedy this situation?

Did you check to see if you had the little rubber gasket? Look here:
