Default Got my Rims installed on Friday ... Dealing with vibration

I received my Tire & Rim package from TR on friday @ 6:30PM, I had them put on at a local NTB.

On my way home I noticed a very bad vibration around 55MPH

I called the shop and they advised that I toqued the bolts which did not make much difference.

I took the car back and had them rebalance the wheels, this made it a lot better but I still get the pulsation on the steering at any speed over 55MPH?

The Rims are the brand new 18x8 Sport Edition ST4 by Tire Rack
The Tires are the 235/50ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS .....

get them balanced again
use a shop that has a newer model Hunter "Road Force" balancer

the LS is VERY picky on its wheel balance.

Nice collection coming along! Weekly bump.

I know some may question why I started this thread since I haven't posted my setup....it's because it's a really exciting stock wheel right now and takes tremendous creativity to imagine what it looks like. Waiting on my Shallen's and will post when they get put on!

I hava an appointment with this dude that sound like he knows what he is supposed to do; the good thing is that TR would credit me to get it fixed.

Its funny how you start getting kind of used to the vibration after 3 days and 400 Miles

Thanks

You ordered them? Nice! What size and offsets? Which model, and what finish?

Well... here is my temporary setup... since I HATE the stock wheels with a passion...

These rims I'm borrowing from a friend. This EXACT set went around a Nascar track on a Grand Prix Pace car... I don't remember which race, but my friend knows. Since he got them, he had them powdercoated and bought new tires.

Lexus LS model and year: 1991 LS400
Wheel Make & Model: Enkei - Unknown Model
Wheel Size (diameter and width): 18x8

Tire Make and Model: Gajah Tunggal Champiro HPZ-40
Tire Size Front: 235/40 R 18
Tire Size Rear: 235/40 R 18

Suspension mods: Stock non-air sagging suspension
Amount of drop: Just a little from sagging

Here's the rims on a pace car:

And here's my car:

none in the rear but could use a 5-10mm spacer to make it flush or poke a bit.
Those HR3s looks fabulous. I was absolutely torn between those and the Shallen LX. Great choice on the wheels!
